1. Scope of these terms
These Payment Terms govern payments you make through the Pay Online page of this website. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Any marketing, development or other service engagement itself is governed by the separate signed agreement between you and The Pie Technologies — this page covers how the money moves, not what the work includes.
2. Payment methods
Online payments are taken through PayPal only. The PayPal button on the Pay Online page opens PayPal’s own secure checkout, where you can pay with your PayPal balance, a linked bank account, or a debit or credit card processed by PayPal. This website never asks for, receives or stores your card number, PayPal login or any other payment credential.
3. Currency and amounts
- All payments are taken in US dollars (USD).
- The amount you enter on the Pay Online page is the amount charged — please confirm it matches the invoice, quote or agreed figure before you press the PayPal button.
- Any currency conversion, and any fees your bank or card issuer applies to that conversion, are handled by your bank or PayPal, not by this website.
4. How the payment is processed
The payment is created, approved and captured entirely by PayPal in your browser. There is no server-side checkout, no webhook and no payment record stored by this website: PayPal is the merchant of record for the transaction and its User Agreement and Privacy Policy apply to the payment itself.
5. Confirmation and receipts
PayPal shows its own confirmation when a payment completes, and the Pay Online page then displays a short success message. Your PayPal receipt is the official record of the payment — please keep it. If you do not receive a PayPal confirmation, treat the payment as not completed and contact us before paying again.
6. Failed or duplicate payments
If a payment fails, is interrupted, or you believe you may have paid twice, stop and contact us at info@thepietechnologies.com quoting the amount and any PayPal reference shown. Do not submit the payment repeatedly: we will check the transaction with PayPal and arrange the return of any duplicate payment.
7. Refunds and disputes
Refunds for services are handled according to the signed service agreement or the terms quoted for the work. For a payment made through the Pay Online page, contact us first at info@thepietechnologies.com so we can resolve it directly. You may also open a dispute or claim through PayPal’s Resolution Center under PayPal’s own policies; PayPal’s decisions on the payment transaction itself are final.
8. Taxes and fees
Amounts shown and entered are exclusive of any taxes, duties or similar charges that may legally apply to you; you are responsible for those where they arise. Standard personal payments through PayPal carry no fee from this website.
9. Availability
Online payments depend on PayPal’s service and on the payment configuration in our admin dashboard. If the Pay Online page shows that payments are currently unavailable, please contact us to arrange an alternative way to pay.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Payment Terms; the “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Continued use of the Pay Online page after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
