Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: March 04, 2025
By engaging The Pie Technologies for any service — including but not limited to web development, app development, SEO, digital marketing, or graphic design — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, alongside the Privacy Policy referenced above.
The specific scope of work, deliverables, and timeline for your project will be outlined in your individual service agreement or proposal. These Terms apply alongside that agreement; where a conflict exists, your signed agreement takes precedence.
Clients agree to provide timely feedback, content, and access (e.g., hosting, domain, or account credentials) needed to complete the project. Delays in providing this information may affect project timelines and billing cycles.
Payment Structure
- Upfront Payment: A first payment is required upfront before work on your project begins. This secures your project slot and covers the initial phase of work.
- Monthly Billing: Following the upfront payment, you will be billed on a monthly basis, with each charge occurring after the completion of that month's agreed-upon work.
- Payments are processed securely through our designated payment provider. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
- Invoices will be issued before each monthly charge, outlining the work completed for that billing period.
- Continued access to ongoing services is contingent on payments being made on time. Late or missed payments may result in a pause of services until the account is brought current.
Refund Policy
- The initial upfront payment is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it covers project setup, planning, and the start of active work.
- Monthly payments are billed only after that month's work has been completed and delivered, and are therefore non-refundable once the corresponding work has been provided.
- If you believe a charge was made in error, or if work for a billing period was not delivered as agreed, please contact us within 7 days of the charge so we can review and resolve the matter.
- Approved refunds, where applicable, will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe and may take additional time to reflect depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Cancellations must be communicated in writing before the start of a new billing cycle to avoid being charged for the next month.
Ownership of final deliverables transfers to the client upon payment in full, unless otherwise stated in your service agreement. The Pie Technologies retains the right to showcase completed work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
The Pie Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Either party may terminate ongoing services with written notice before the start of the next billing cycle. Work completed up to the date of termination will be billed according to the Payment Policy above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Pie Technologies operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
